His life is written on a paper from scratch to the very top and that is Executive Hoodlum:Negotiating on the corner of the Main and Mean by John Costello, you are coming across a story that is inspiring of what a person can do with his life and thrilling in every page.Life is tricky but every situation that you deal with had taught you something that your future self will thank you, and that's what is really happening in this book.
John Costello growing up under a difficult conditions in Chicago streets, coming from a family where his father is talented Italian thenor with mob surrounding while being in the center of it and mostly the reason of John's trouble ,and his mother being the victim of the violence.Surrounded by bad influence in the first place of his father who is always forcing and teaching him to became like him, John continues in college and is doing very well at sports which his father thinks that is just waste of money. While at the end his persistence paid of.
Reading through John's memoir which was the best one yet, every situation it was well written that i felt like i was present while reading it, the family members and friends were well described.I can't say anything bad or disappointing about the book because i was fascinated.I would definitely recommend this book to everyone even if you are not a big fan of memoirs this is totally game changing and inspiring at the same time of what a person can achieve with such difficulty in life.
After i finished reading the book i realized about the cover of it, the man walking on a rope, and that was actually his life, and now from the beginning to the very end we are talking about the same man who is now Vice President in a billion-dollar semiconductor company. He has a lovely wife and two set of twins, the effort he put in was worth it and the puzzle
is complete now.
I give Executive Hoodlum: Negotiating on the Corner of Main and Mean by John Costello 4 out of 4 stars.I really enjoyed reading it, especially the last parts of the books were remarkable. Let's not forget to mention his friends Scott Baio and Larry Elder who wrote the Foreword and Afterword, it's such a pride to have friends who give the most to support you.
