[Following is a volunteer review of "30th Century: Escape (General Audience Edition)" by Mark Kingston Levin PhD.]

Jennifer Héros is a scientist in the 30th century, and they are planning a mission to travel to the 27th century. They are naturals and are being threatened by Syndos, who want to send them into extinction. Being the captain of Secret Society, SS, she’s heading the team in this mission. The Syndos were created by naturals, therefore, they have to travel back in time and introduce a virus in the early Syndos programming. By doing so, they will be able to alter the corrupt morals of Syndos to enhance their survival.

However, Jennifer undergoes a change of heart opting to go to the 21st century while she sends her team to the exact century. This leads to her landing on the Moruroa Atoll where she’s stranded for months trying to survive. Consequently, when Professor Martin Zitonick rescues her, it's more than a welcomed relief. He was on a scientific study with his students when their paths meet.

30th Century: Escape by Mark Kingston Levin PhD is the first book in the 30th Century Trilogy. The author has written an epic story while highlighting themes like friendship, family, and love with science being the major theme. Its a wonderful science fiction and despite the countless scientific formulae and analysis, the other themes make a beautiful shadow enhancing readability. This book is mysterious, full of suspense and crazy twists and turns. The climax of it all is the cliff-hanger at the end although not massive it makes you desire to read even more.

I love strong female characters, and this book is full of them. Starting with Jennifer who’s trying to get justice for her husband who was killed by the Syndos. She heads a team comprised of both men and women and is able to make strong life-changing decisions. The storyline is beautiful with the timelines perfect. The author was able to fully capture my attention from the beginning to the end, and I enjoyed reading this book. The description in the book is so good you can virtually see the atoll being described, the dolphins, sharks among many other things.

I am rating this book a 4 out of 4 stars. I feel there isn’t much to dislike in the book. However, I came across two errors so maybe a round of editing is needed; though it didn’t disrupt my reading. There are also some really erotic sex scenes so, age capping and discretion is advised. Finally, I recommend this book to all science fiction lovers as I eagerly wait to read the second book.

This sound like a very interesting read! In my opinion, the mark of a good book is when you can truly get involved and picture the scenes in the book as you mention! Unfortunately, the fact that there are erotic scenes in the book steers me away from reading it. Thank you for the review!

I did read and review this book sometime back and gave it a 4 out of 4 stars. I totally love books that will keep the reader glued from the beginning to the end. the topping of the icing in this one is strong female characters and leads that is what had me in. Congrats on such an excellent review.

Very true there's nothing as catchy and good as a book that you can visually imagine the scenes unfold. Thank you for your nice compliment.
