One Way or Another is the first book in the Sisters Quartet series. Calder Benedict and her sisters are the closest group of sisters you will ever find. They love each other unconditionally and will do anything for each other. There strong bond comes from their mostly absentee parents. Because of this each has sworn off love and just focus on themselves and their careers. Calder keeps running into Adam Stone and they definitely have chemistry together. There are many twists in this book that go along with the romance aspect of it. Calder's mother is dating a man that had hit on all four of the Benedict sisters. They don't trust him and think he wants to get his hands on their mothers money. They hire a private investigator to look into their mothers boyfriend to see if what they suspect about him is true. I loved getting to know the Benedict sisters as well as Adam and his mother and his friends. The Benedict sisters bond was something I loved. I also loved Adam's complete adoration for his mother. The slight mystery aspect of the book is what I think drew me in. I love a good romance mixed with little mystery. The book ended with a shocking announcement being made by the Benedict sisters mother that has me anxiously wanting to read book two. I definitely give this book 4 out of 4 stars.
