[Following is a volunteer review of "Lost and Love: Thailand (Book One of the Lost and Love Series)" by Stella Knights.]

“Honey, I’m afraid we’ve fallen into a rut.”

When Savannah married Johnny, she believed that their passion for one another would last forever. What she didn’t expect was that her husband would be so consumed with other things that their marriage would be put on the backburner. Desperate to rejuvenate their lackluster sex life, Savannah plans an exotic trip to Thailand. She hopes the trip will enable them to put all other distractions on hold while they focus on one another.

The couple is excited to try new things and explore their fantasies, but one decision could change everything. Will a racy getaway rekindle the spark between Savannah and Johnny, or will their choices cost them their marriage?

Lost and Love: Thailand (Book One of the Lost and Love Series) is the first book in a series written by Stella Knights. The story is told in the first-person perspective and follows, Savannah, a newly married woman who is beginning to feel the effects of an unraveling relationship. Readers are taken on a romantic adventure where the author addresses weighty subjects such as sexuality and self-discovery.

I felt quite a connection to Savannah’s character; she was reflective and forthcoming about the fears that many married women face. When a person is feeling physically and emotionally rejected in a relationship, it begins to take a toll on their self-confidence. The author did an excellent job of addressing the plight of a woman who no longer feels desired. Savannah felt that Johnny had lost interest in her, and her insecurities were well-outlined to readers. She said, “How often he stares at the images of photoshopped women instead of me. I wish he knew the pain I feel when he chooses to look at a screen, yet I’m sitting there waiting for his attention just aching to be loved.”

While the book has quite a number of explicit sex scenes, I admire the author’s ability to go above and beyond your average erotic story. Stella Knights has written a book that delves deep into relationships; it examines the disastrous effects that jealously and lust can have on a person. I thought Lost and Love: Thailand (Book One of the Lost and Love Series) would be a light summer read, but I was wrong. The most vital lesson that I learned from the book was never to stop nurturing your relationship because nothing is set in stone; marriage is work.

The book was impeccably written and professionally edited; I found no errors at all. I loved everything about this book, and my only complaint is that I have to wait for the second book to become available. With that being said, I chose to give Lost and Love: Thailand (Book One of the Lost and Love Series) a rating of 4 out of 4 stars. I would recommend the book to adult readers who enjoy sensual scenes set in exotic locations. As I mentioned earlier, this book is more than erotic fiction; it has well-developed characters and offers a more in-depth look into troubled marriages.

This book would not be suitable for readers who do not enjoy erotic love stories. I would also dissuade young readers from picking up Lost and Love: Thailand (Book One of the Lost and Love Series) because of the vulgar language and explicit sex scenes.

I'm not a big fan of romantic or erotic fiction, so I probably won't read this one. Your description of the characters, though, makes it sound like this book has a bit more substance to it than some romantic fiction I've read. Great review!

I'm glad this book goes beyond the physique lust and touch the marriage subject too. It sounds like a blend between an unfulfilled marriage and the sensual attraction that is boiling in humans' natures. Lovely review! Thank you!

Romance isn't typically my go-to genre, but I really enjoyed this book! Like you mentioned, the character development was very impressive and (speaking from a woman's perspective) Savannah's plight was incredibly relatable. Although Zander was a catalyst for change, I enjoyed watching Savannah grow, take responsibility for her life, and become the heroine of her story. Great review!

Erotic novels aren't usually my thing, mostly because they tend to feel formulaic and feature weak characters. This one seems to go above and beyond with a grounded, relatable main character and complex relationship dynamics. I wouldn't mind giving it a try sometime. Thanks for the review!

Great review! I have also reviewed this book, and I agree with you completely: the book offers more than just erotica. The main character has very complex thoughts, and she is doing anything she can in order to save her marriage. I found that to be admirable.

I was pleasantly surprised by the character development; I agree these types of novels usually skimp out on strong characters. Thanks for your comment!
