Do you have a job? What will be your ideal job? If you have a job, are you satisfied with your career? Finding A Job In Tough Times, by Dr. Tim Johnson, is a guide for recent graduates in determining the relevant work. Receiving a diploma during graduation is one thing that makes us happy because we endure all hardship in that course. Our course will only help us be prepared for the coming life outside college. Dr. Tim offers a help to fresh graduates in utilizing their capabilities that fits for employment.
Reading this book is like you are consulting a job analyst; it is compact with '48 Exercises' which aides in preparing someone for employment, especially during an interview. Dr. Tim have 'Six Steps To A Paycheck' which I like the most that's mean steps for employment. 'Re-define yourself', 're-define your goals', and 're-examine limitations' are the top three in self-assessment. Grab a copy now and find out the last 'Three Steps To A Paycheck', which help in choosing the suitable career. Attention! The author requires you to have before knowing the six steps are an open-mindedness, a pen, a paper and lastly, do take action. Enjoy doing the exercises, which carefully itemized by the author to ensure satisfaction.
The book is narrated by the author, which is like talking to a casual friend for obtaining advice. Dr. Tim can relate to fresh graduates because he has also experienced the common fears in searching for a job. He also suffers negative emotions when he was not hired. You are not alone! I learned in this book how the author's job strategy works out. Finding A Job In Tough Times appears to be a workbook for self-assessment in becoming the most outstanding employee. If the 'Exercises' are carefully followed, you will end up with an excellent result.
Dr. Tim's effort in weaving this workbook deserves 4 out of 4 stars. His 'Exercises Strategies' are not merely for fresh graduates. The book is also for a job seeker regardless of age. I appreciate the author's dozens of questions; they serve as all reminders to any job applicants. His advice in the goal of man and woman regarding spiritual matter is a plus, too. Other themes like involving in church activity and joining in the community development are not limited to the reasons of "because I have work or a job, I can't carry out such a thing"; the author wanted an employee to 'enjoy' life not just in the workplace, but also at home, in the church and along with peers.
This book delights me for the language is easy to decipher, especially to non-English speaking people. Finding A Job In Tough Times is brilliantly written, with good grammar as well as spelling and it is neatly woven in EPUB-format; it is professionally edited. A couple of hours will do in following all the instructions, and doing all the 'Exercises' will not consume a lot of hours. However, I like least in some instructions because some parts are not explained well, but I still enjoy following the author's idea.
