Serendipity Mystery: Diary of a Snoopy Cat by R.F. Kristi is a children’s book focusing on a detective story. The story is about a group of four cats - Cara, Inca, Fromage, and Charlotte, who together are proud members of the Inca Detective Agency. They solve the crime and bring the ones responsible for the crime to justice. This book is the seventh installment in the detective series but can be read as a standalone book. In this book, Inca and her family are on a trip to the island country of Sri Lanka. During this trip, they happen to come across a theft at the local museum. Using her wit, and with the help of her friends, Inca solves the crime and brings the accused to justice. This a short and sweet story, which will be well-liked by children.

The story is structured correctly with a good beginning and a good ending, with a little tension at the climax. The character of Inca is excellent, and children will not only love her but learn a lot from her. The way she stays calm during pressure accesses her surroundings, and acts on them will interest children. Her interactions with her peers are adorable. Though she is young, she is a responsible cat and inspires the sense of responsibility in others.

This story is perfect for children. No insulting words or comments were used in any way. The author writes this small and straightforward script with pure regard for children. This tale is overflowing with proper values, a sense of responsibility, and children will not ever get bored because of the mystery setup. The story also teaches the importance of family among children. Children will come out reading this book with a deep interest in Inca and will want to become more like her.

The book is professionally edited. Typos are rare, and will not cause a hindrance to the story. The story also does not feature any scene or words that might seem offensive to children. Overall, this is a fantastic tale, and I would recommend every parent to encourage their children to read it.

I rate the book 4 out of 4 stars because I could not find a single thing that felt odd. Everything fits perfectly in place with this book. This book would be an excellent gift for children, which would not only promote their love for reading but also build quality values in them.

A book of a team of animals who are detectives, it was so interesting. Reading how animals befriend each other really gave a smile on my face. Nice review.
