The book Strong Heart by Charlie Sheldon is a work of fiction like no other. This book would be a good read for anyone interested in magic and adventure, all while keeping in touch with reality. The book begins with the surprise entrance of lost kin, who all then go on a time defying adventure to save the park that they love. Though it may be slow in some places, the book leaves no room for the reader to guess what is going to happen, it keeps the reader on the edge of their toes the whole ride.

Though the book contains a few light swears, it does not bog it down and is moderate enough that it is still something that young adults and adolescents can read. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys light mystery and suspense wrapped up in a magical adventure.

The book is exceptionally well edited and cleanly organized with a graphic design that is pleasing to the eye. Not only is the cover nicely designed, each chapter page has a small relevant graphic, as well as minimalist designs on the header and footer of each page. It was clearly professionally edited and I found no grammatical or spelling errors while I was reading it. One thing that I disliked and noticed almost immediately was the difference in the way that the text on the pages lined up, the text seemingly being shifted slightly to the right then back, every other page. This may only be in the PDF version of the book however, which is what I read, so I cannot speak for any other format. Overall I give this book 4 out of 4 stars.

I would give it a three and a half if given the opportunity, but I would not give it just a three because of the small alignment error. What I liked most about the book was the development of the characters in it. The characters were not static but full of life and well rounded. The book content itself is incredible, and the story keeps the reader engaged and is full of twists and turns to keep the reader guessing. Though it is a magical fiction book, it is real enough that the reader feels as though they are there, watching the story unfold. The adventure in the book is well written and highly detailed, leaving the reader feeling like they too right behind the main characters.

Strong Heart is a fantastic read for people who enjoy action and adventure, with a sprinkling of magic and mystery on the side. I highly recommend this book and I thoroughly enjoyed every second of reading it.
