What's Your Favorite Color? by Amber L. Lassiter is a children's book. The author dedicated this book to her parents. I have great memories of reading children's books, so I didn't waste a second to choose this book. My experience with children's books was very good, and I enjoyed this time also.

Amber is a little girl, and she's going to attend a drawing competition in her class. Amber's teacher, Mrs. Lassiter, told them to wear their favorite colors. Everyone had to put their favorite color in their drawings secretly. When Amber was about to begin her drawing, she found out that she hadn't brought her colors. What will Amber do?

First of all, I liked the atmosphere of the class very much. It was pleasant, light, and colorful. Kids would be eager to go to a colorful classroom. Secondly, the author created Mrs. Lassiter as a friendly teacher. She inspired the children with her idea of using favorite colors. She tried to teach the children in a playful method. Kids get more involved in their studies if the teacher knows various tactics of teaching. The author included many emotions in the story through Amber's situation, such as sadness, anger, happiness, etc. The story had a small secret that made the book even more interesting. I think kids are going to like this book very much.

There was nothing that I didn't like. The book was colorful, attractive, and interesting. Amber's character was very mature and sharp. I'm very impressed with her unique way of thinking. As a Children's book, character development was also very good.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. I didn't give it a 3 because the book was wonderful, and I liked it a lot. I found only two small punctuation mistakes, which wasn't bad at all. So the book was well-edited. There was nothing vulgar. So the book is perfect for children. I recommend this book to children above three.

This seems like an adorable book for children, and the atmosphere in the book sounds wonderful. I think that if all the classes were so colorful and all the teachers were so friendly, maybe more children and even teens would find school more enjoyable. Thanks for the great review!

I just reviewed this book too, and I liked it very much as well. I like how diverse the class is and the introduction of some challenging vocabulary to help kids learn. I found some spelling mistakes, though.
Thanks!
