Filled with action and danger this book kept me on the edge of my seat throughout.

A deal that was meant to be safe goes horribly wrong and Lennie Bowers ends up putting his wife and 6 month old child in grave danger. He struggles to protect his family from both the Costa Rican jungle and a cold blooded tracker after him.

From the first few pages I was already hooked. The book was brought alive by the vivid descriptions given by David Griffith. The combination of dialogue and description made it an enjoyable read. For every page I read I was eager to read more.

I also really enjoyed the fact that David Griffith gave two points of view. One from the the protagonist (Lennie Bowers) and one from the antagonist. This therefore helps us understand why each character does what they do. It makes you feel a connection with the characters.

For me personally, the only difficulty that I had with this book was understanding the American phrases however, it was appropriate for the context.

Overall I found this book thrilling and I would definitely recommend it.

I would give this a 4 out of 4
