This definitely sounds a little too real—and that’s a good thing. We might use literature as a form of escapism, but it’s more just to escape our problems to run right into someone else’s. I was hooked by the prologue. I have read only the sample at the time of this post, as I HAD to buy it. I felt so drawn to her because I was she several years ago. The author puts Brynn's emotions and feelings into a poetic form I never could have. I don't think this book could work if it weren't written in the first person. I'm intrigued such that I want more from Hughes.

I didn’t even know Scott Hughes was also a writer. I’m curious how this book will turn out. but everyone says it’s fabulous and id love to see it for myself.
