The title had me thinking this is a children's story. How wrong I was! The plot interests me, but I agree all those details make it sound kinda complex. I enjoyed reading your review!

I'm not a fan of romance, so I'll skip this book. Great, thorough review!

Okay, I am glad I read your review. From the title, I thought this was a children's book! With no book cover, I was literally going by the title. I think the author could have come up with a better name for the book. Thank you for an informative review.

Imagine waking up and finding out your biological father is super famous and rich (I assume). There is an ethical theme in this story; who will she choose? Thanks for the review.

Lucy's personality makes her a lovable character. Thanks for your kind words. :)

Prisallen wrote: 08 Jun 2021, 11:03 It sounds like the book still needs a little work, especially with leaving out portions that drag the story down. I don't care much for books that can't be read as a standalone, so I think I will skip this one. Thanks for your wonderful review!
I am glad you enjoyed the review. It is part of a series but it didn't feel like I was missing something by not reading part one.

That would be some situation if we let little kids read this :lol2: . If the plot sounds interesting then you must give it a read. You'll enjoy the book as well. Thank you for your kind words :)
