The Blue Sea Monster is a children's book written by Norma Fleagane, James Fleagane, and Blake James Ward. It narrates the story of Blake and his grandfather, as they try to save the children of Palm Beach, Florida, from an evil sea monster. The hideous monster, with a small head and two bulging eyes on each side, would come out every day — sometimes early morning or late at night — to look for children and capture them.

But Grandpa and Blake had had enough of this monster and were determined to face it and bring all the children back home from captivity. So, Grandpa and Blake got into a helicopter, and off they went. They flew over lands and oceans, all in search of the missing kids. Will they find these kids and finally bring them back home? You have to read the book to find out.

All in all, I had lots of fun reading this book. The storyline was simple and engaging, and I can imagine kids making a big fuss about The Blue Sea Monster. I mean, which kid doesn't love a good monster story? Furthermore, I loved the humor injected throughout this book. Some of the scenes looked very hilarious to me, and I couldn't help but giggle.

The one thing I liked most about The Blue Sea Monster was the excellent illustrations included throughout. Every scene described in words had an accompanying illustration, and this made it very easy to follow the storyline. Also, the illustrations were colorful, fun, and attractive. Kids would definitely love them.

To be honest, there was nothing to dislike about this book, and so I rate it 4 out of 4 stars. I believe it was exceptionally edited, as I found no errors in it. Lastly, I would recommend it to kids between the ages of three and eight. Parents should also read this book out loud to preschoolers.

I like that this children’s book is a bit thrilling. The plot gives Blake and his grandmother a heroic stance. I would love to have a grandma like Blake's. Your review is quite detailed.
