I read this book and agree with you, I enjoyed it a lot but I didn’t really care that it was written in an idealistic tone.

I love the idea of 13 'golden pearls' that can help people out in their lives. I agree though that such an upbeat tone can feel wrong for some readers. Thank you for your insights!
