I am ardent fan of any historical accounts and this one definitely sounds captivating. I do not like the fact that the book is lengthy, though. I prefer something that is a bit precise.

This book while historically accurate to a great extent, disappointed me because events did not take place as I would have loved. I still appreciate the knowledge though. Nice work!

It is a great read for a particular audience, though unfortunately I'm not a part of that. I am so glad that you enjoyed it thoroughly! Thank you for your insightful and honest review. Happy reading :techie-studyinggray:

Wow, you've made the book seem excitng considering it's length. Its nice to know that you found it to be fascinating. The story of Leotychides provides an incite into the kingdom of Sparta and seems to be quite interesting. Having to see Leotychides grow from an infant to being a general could have been an exciting adventure. Nice review and my interest is certainly aroused.

I liked Leotychides too, but he was too reluctant to take the initiative. However, Antalkidas was the wisest. I wish Leotychides had listened to him.
