Review by Diana prince -- Trinity's Fall by PA Vasey
What lies beyond the cosmos? An ocean of stars? Or maybe life itself, are we alone in the universe? These are questions humanity has asked since the beginning of time and for years we've never really had a definite answer, not until now.
Sara Clarke gets a rude awakening when she discovers that her life is a complete and total lie;her name, memories and identity are all fake. With the help of her friend Colleen Stillman, Sara or rather Kate Morgan sets out to pick up the missing pieces and solve this mystery but war becomes their new reality as they find themselves at the forefront of a battle between an alien race(the Vu-Hak) and humanity. As the threat of an invasion looms impending doom, it is evident that Kate is the key to the survival of the human race but how? And why? So many questions, so many mysteries, will humanity prevail? Only time will tell.
Trinity's Fall by P.A. Vasey is a science fiction novel based on a dystopian world where aliens actually exist and too bad for mankind, they are hell bent on universal destruction.
Most people picture little green men when they hear the word aliens, but luckily this wasn't the case in this book, Vasey has a wild sense of imagination and this served to make the story more interesting.I found it to be quite intriguing;it was different, amazing and addictive. I can't say that I fully understood the science and theories that were depicted in the book but I still loved it. This goes to show that the story is not limited to a specific group of people, it can be read by all, especially those who enjoy a good, mystery filled sci-fi novel.
As the second book of the series, it was easy to follow the storyline, a fact which I commend since I didn't need to read the first book in order to understand this one. I also loved the author's portrayal of the characters, through them I was able to feel their hope, anger, fears, uncertainties and their will to survive no matter the peril. It gave me a taste of what it's like to be in the midst of violence and utter destruction.
I'd give it a 4 out of 4 star rating, I rarely give a book a perfect score but this one definitely deserved it, it was perfect; the editing was flawless and the plot was magnificent. I think this book would be better suited for teenagers and adults as I feel a younger audience would not fully comprehend the theories and concepts that are in the book
