The author presents an inspiring message. Everyone can bring light and joy to others - even a humble and solitary candle maker. Your positive remarks about this book have motivated me to put this book in my reading list! Thanks for the recommendation.

This book sounds fascinating. The idea of progress and solitude passed by this novel seem interesting too. I might give it a try. Thanks for the great review!

I love the hint that there's more to the book and that there's something to unravel until the very end. Thanks for this review!

It is heartwarming to learn that he was able to come out of self seclusion and make out something from the deplorable state he was in. I wonder why he chose to be anonymous throughout the novel. I think it could have been more intriguing knowing his name.
