Serendipity Mystery: Diary of a Snoopy Cat by R.F. Kristi is a children's mystery book. This book is part of a series featuring Inca, and her team of detectives who travel the globe solving mysteries. This book can be read as a standalone novel.

Inca, a self-proclaimed snoopy cat is in Sri Lanka, enjoying a much-deserved vacation with her Mom and siblings, when her mom's friend Solo is summoned to Sri Lanka to solve a mystery. A valuable sword has been stolen from the museum and they need Solo, and his clever dog Terrance to catch the thieves. But Inca, snoopy as she is, decides to find the culprit first, with the help of her able team. Join these cute animals as they go on an adventure, and find out if they succeed in their quest.

This is a fun, interesting read. As with the rest of the books in the series, the author has added a lot of interesting facts about Sri Lanka and its native animals. This makes it educational for kids. The language is easy to follow. The illustrations are cute and colorful and will aid the reader's imagination. The story teaches kids to be brave, and forgiving. It will instill a curiosity about other places and their cultures.

I did not dislike anything about the book. I found one spelling mistake. There were no grammatical errors. The book seems to be professionally edited. However, just like the other book, i have read in this series, the paragraph alignment makes it difficult to decipher who each dialogue comes from. There is no inappropriate language or content.

This book will be best enjoyed by children aged 6 to 10. I give this book 4 out of 4 stars. I highly recommend it to parents as the children will not only enjoy the stories but also learn a lot from them.
