When a yearning that cannot be fulfilled or quelled by earthly materials engulfs your soul and leaves you with a deep desire and questions, where do you turn to? Fulfillment by ICA is a book about spirituality, written in the first-person point of view. The author shares his personal journey and experiences towards achieving fulfillment.

The author aims to ignite and accelerate spiritual awakening in the reader. He believes that human beings are self-sufficient and possess all that they need to lead a fulfilling life. The book touches on various aspects that impact our spirituality. He compares our purpose in life to a game wherein we have to conquer the challenges we face in our current levels to develop and ascend to the next level.

I expected the book to be sentimental and deep considering its title, but I did not expect it to delve that deeply into the complexities of spirituality. The book took me through a journey that invoked deep-seated emotions and feelings. As I read through it, it forced me to pause, reflect, and evaluate myself. As developing beings, our needs and desires also evolve and the author re-iterates the need for us to be gentle with ourselves in this walk of life.

The use of relatable anecdotes throughout the book piqued my interest and made reading the book easier and more enjoyable. What I liked the most was that the author relayed his experience and opinions in a manner that teaches instead of condemning. Spirituality is a sensitive, unique, and personal journey. I appreciate that the author does not impose his beliefs or trajectory to finding fulfillment on the reader but shares his discoveries.

What I can attest to is that this book takes the reader through a personal journey that awakens one’s consciousness. I, therefore, recommend it to those who are on a quest to achieve fulfillment. The book offers nuggets of wisdom and contains generous doses of encouragement and motivation. It is best suited to spiritually inclined people, and it mentions God throughout.

The cohesive structure of the book is commendable as it makes it easy for the reader to follow the chain of events as they unfold. The book was well-edited, as I did not encounter any errors while reading. What I did not like about the book was that it was long as it covered a lot of topics in-depth. As a result, I would advise readers to read it over a longer period instead of reading it from cover to cover in one sitting. I am satisfied with the book and rate it 3 out of 4 stars.

I think at the end of the day the topic on fulfillment can never be exhausted. But in the author's defense, I think he did a good job in tackling this topic based on your nice review. Thanks

Well said Nqobile771. I agree with you entirely that as developing beings, our needs also change. I'm glad that the book is written in a manner that makes it accessible and relatable for readers. Failure to do that makes the reader detached from the teachings you're trying to impose on them. Nice job!

Fulfillment is a lofty goal. Humans are by nature seekers of greener pastures. As a Christian, I believe true fulfillment only comes with being united with the Father. No eye has seen, and no ear has heard.

This is a great book to pick up if one is looking for spiritual enlightenment. Even though I believe that one person’s perception of spiritual enlightenment may be different from others and is unique, I would still like to read this book for some insight.

Great review.
