[Following is a volunteer review of "Serendipity Mystery: Diary of a Snoopy Cat" by R.F. Kristi.]
Away on holidays in a tiny island lying just in the middle of India and Southeast Asia, comes the enthralling and adventurous destination to the detective team called Inca & company. Serendipity Mystery: Diary Of A Snoopy Cat by R.F. Kristi is the 7th book in the Inca Book Series. On this occasion of the Inca & company detective team adventure, Inca and his team found themselves in Sri Lanka, where they overheard their humanoid owner talking about a valuable, old antique sword that has been stolen from the main museum in Colombo.
As usual, Inca and his team love getting themselves involved in solving crimes, this was not an exception. Join them as they put their detective caps on and embark on solving this mysterious theft.
One element I liked best about this book is that it's a standalone book. One doesn't have to read other books in the series to actually connect and flow with the book.
The author made it easier to read and of course, it's understandable. So it's a great deal that her writing style it's quite gripping, especially since this is a children's book. Further, I found the book to be well-illustrated especially with the presence of pictures.
And also the book contained quite a number of fun facts. So it's another bonus upon bonus to the younger readers and even to a few older readers like me. I had a glimpse of Sri Lanka's culture. Hence, giving this book a perfect rating isn't something to contemplate on, since the book proved to be ok.
I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. I don't dislike anything pertaining to the book. The book was professionally edited I came across just minor grammatical errors. This book would definitely suit the interest of animal lovers as most of the characters where animals.
