[Following is a volunteer review of "Serendipity Mystery: Diary of a Snoopy Cat" by R.F. Kristi.]
Whenever I walk my dog to the park and notice different animals gathered, a lot of amazing ideas go through my mind; ”Could they be planning to surprise their owners?” Serendipity Mystery: Diary of a Snoopy Cat by R.F. Kristi is a children's book that takes young cartoon lovers on an adventure with Inca and her friends on their trip to Sri Lanka. On this epic adventure, readers are parachuted to a fantastic world where Inca, a Siberian cat detective, and her team comprising different pets attempt to assist their humanoid, Mom, and her boyfriend, Solo, to unravel the mystery of some stolen items. Would their efforts aid the retrieval of these items?
This book would keep young readers focused on the story until the end. The descriptive concept adopted by the author was exemplary. The inclusion of an awesome artistic skill made my reading more interesting and colorful. The book also tries to educate young readers on the history of Sri Lanka. Did you know that the ruins of Anuradhapura house the oldest living human-planted trees?
The author focused on the theme of the story and didn't deviate. This book is packed with a stunning thrill of suspense, and the story was fast-paced. A good example of a suspenseful scene was when Inca went in search of one of her detectives, Fromage, in the wild.
There was nothing to dislike while I read this book. The experience I got from this piece was phenomenal. The author did an excellent job regarding this book’s editing. I found less than 4 errors, and this made my reading swift and extraordinary.
I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars because I had a remarkable experience as I read. This book would be an interesting read for my little siblings. I recommend this book to parents with kids between the ages of 5 and 12. This piece would improve their children’s vocabulary.
