Winning the War on Cancer was an excellent, uplifting read. After losing family to cancer, I had many questions about the benefits (or lack thereof) of some current medical treatments. Winning the War on Cancer is not an argument on modern medicine, but rather provides hopeful alternative options. It was thought-provoking, interesting, and well written. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn more about holistic medicine.

Even though the government and doctors alike have joined forces to beat cancer, it has been unsuccessful; but why? It seems as though holistic, natural methods have been hidden from cancer patients and ignored by the medical field.

The story Beljanski tells is a fascinating one. Her father treated the president of France some time ago. Her father was successful, extending the life of the politician significantly, but could not save him completely. The father became the subject of persecution and bullying. He was put on a medical blacklist, some calling him a quack. But was he?

It seems he wasn't, but was rather in a way framed for the president's death. Beljanski wants us to finally learn from her fathers brilliant, natural attempts at fighting cancer. Though his methods have been pushed under the ground for a long time, this book brings them to light. Whether you believe in natural medicine or not, the story itself is worth reading.
