[Following is a volunteer review of "Selling with Presence" by Reggie Pearse.]
Selling with Presence by Reggie Pearse is a great book for people who are in sales department as a business. As the name suggests, the author explains in details about behavior that allows us to show up in the right way across interactions which includes; first time meeting up with prospective buyer, presenting an insight in the meeting, uncovering details and information about the buyer. This helps us in business strategy on how to deal with clients and whenever a problem emerges the way we should handle it.
The reader can relate well with this book since the author goes further and talks about his past experience in sales, how to deal with a client and market strategy. Through his experience, we are able to learn a lot in sales, have ideas and be prepared to handle different clients. I liked the way he outlined lessons that we should learn in sales and he goes further to teach us not to be comfortable at the current success but to thrive harder because the current success is not a guarantee to the future success. The book has good lessons on how to have a great presence which will help in closing more deals because of credibility, trust and better relationship hence success.
It's divided into small chapters which are well explained for a greater understanding. It makes reading easy since these chapters are short and precise. The author's personal story in sales makes it more relatable and the reader can apply the strategy provided to be successful.
Not only has he talked about success in sales but in health too as you go about your daily routine and how this can greatly affect your decisions. He emphasizes on how good health and work goes hand in hand. And how to avoid being stressed from a lot of work and maintain an overall good health in order to be smart and active while working, as this helps in making right decisions.
I loved everything about the book especially how the author took time to explain his points in details drawing more interest in reading. The format was great with small points noted down which made it easy to read through. I did not find any erotic content in this book. The grammar used was simple and easy to understand. I therefore give it a rating of 4 out of 4. I recommend this book to everyone.
