There's a Rooster in My Bathroom! By Trish Ostroski is a book full of life lessons worth reading. Trish Ostroski, who’s worked from US Peace Corps to stand-up comedian, recounts the many lessons she’s learned through her journey of life in an easy-to-read style that would make anyone happy.

The book was a great read full of thought-provoking lessons, but what I liked the most about it was the writing style the author provided. The voice and tone of the writing were so full of wisdom that you couldn’t wait to hear more. It was clear that the author had experience in life and travel, which is what made you listen intently to the advice given. How the short stories drew you in was fascinating, but what was even better was how they were so easy to read and understand. It was very descriptive and brought you straight into her journey while learning the life lessons. The quotes in each chapter were also a unique way to piece the story and lesson together. It’s a memoir but one that doesn't just teach you about the person but also life in general, which I think is beneficial to make a book intriguing. With such a vast life experience, the author informed the reader while making it humorous and fun. Also, I was interested in how there were numerous captivating factors in the story, such as the variety of jobs and celebrities.

I loved the short chapters, as I had said before, but what I disliked most was that we didn’t get more information with longer chapters. I feel like there could have been more words of wisdom included, but I feel like that because I liked the story so much and wanted it to be longer. Though even with the short chapters, it captivated me and made me not want to stop reading.

This book could be a suggestion for anyone, but it could be more useful to the younger generation so that they can learn life lessons in an appealing way. I think as many people as possible should read this book.

I give the book 4 out of 4 stars because it was a terrific book with a lot of insight. It was also very well-edited, and I couldn’t find any typos or grammar mistakes. The book was a very intriguing read while being informative and keeping your attention.

I’ve always had a thing for memoirs written by successful people on their life experiences. I love the fact that they are not just keeping their experiences and life tips to themselves, but they are sharing it so the younger generation, and anyone who wants to better their lives, as well as those who need a dose of motivation can benefit from their life stories. I absolutely cannot wait to read this seemingly wonderful memoir. Thanks for your great review by the way!

This is a book that I will definitely read. The review is very convincing. Apparently the book is very positive and it seems like the book is really great. I really like books like this which show that life can be bright and cheery. It is strange to me that so few people see this aspect of life. It is my hope that more books of this nature will be written by the author. There is a need for this kind of way of thinking in the world today.
