I am sorry that this book did not reach the plot heights that you expected. Your review was honest and left some encouragement for the author. I hope he rectifies the defeciencies that you mentioned.

Seems like the premise has a lot of potential; it’s just too bad it didn’t live up to your expectations. Regardless, you made a very insightful and honest review.

I recently read a book with an interesting theme but I ended up not liking it because the story seemed a bit rushed. I'm sorry you experienced something similar here.
