[Following is a volunteer review of "Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula" by R.F. Kristi.]
Cat detectives In The Korean peninsula by R.F Kristi is a children's book. The book sheds light on a detective team that's encased with dogs and cats. They're specialized in solving crime mysteries. The team is headed by a Siberian cat named Inca. In the book, Inca keep records about events and his accomplishments in his diary daily. Inca's owner is a well-known chef and was on her way to South Korea to attend an organized cooking competition between North Korea and South Korea.
A competition that was organized to foster peace between the two nations that are separated due to the shadow of their past experiences. Inca owner also had intentions of launching her new cheese product, so she took some samples with her.
Unfortunately for her, samples of her new cheese got missing. Could this be a new mystery for the detective team to solve? Do other unsolved crime mysteries awaits them? What awaits them in South Korea? This book is the 8th installment of The Inca Cat Detective Series.
It's quite delightful that it's a stand-alone book. I was able to connect and flow with the characters. It's impossible to skip the illustration aspects of the book. The book was well illustrated with resplendent images.
It's one of the things I found amazing about this book. As this is a children's book, I felt it met all my expectations of what a children's book should be like. So it's pretty obvious that I don't dislike anything concerning the book. Giving this book a perfect 4-star rating would be a perfect choice.
Therefore, I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars as there was nothing I disliked about the premise of this book. The book was professionally edited, I only incurred a minor error. I'd strongly recommend this book to an audience who loves animals, as this book briefs readers little about animals. Children between the ages of 5-12 would also enjoy the premise of this book.
