Review by Tarilan -- Manasakd by Kelly May Andrews
The book titled Manasakd: The Invitation, told in the first person point of view, is a book by Kelly May Andrews. Have you ever thought that being positive can help you escape reality? Manasakd is a mystical realm in which real world problems are solved.
Kaleb is a twelve-year old boy dealing with anxiety. When his interaction with his favorite psychiatrist is interrupted, he silently slips into Manasakd. He meets Tali in the land of the mythics. She is completely unaware of the fact that she is a legend. Her arrival could bring destruction to the realm. Nevertheless, everyone wants her as their mentee. Who will successfully become her mentor?
The story was very gripping. The suspense and the way every event unfolds is intriguing. I could not even guess what was going to happen next. I was impressed with Dr. Rylee's eccentric nature and the concept of talking animals. The vivid descriptions were also highly relatable.
I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars because it is well edited. I noticed that the typos and grammar errors were used for talking animals, which obviously don't speak fluently like people. Although I continuously checked to see whose point of view I was reading, I enjoyed understanding the story from different perspectives.
I recommend the book to people of all ages. However, if you love fantasy or sci-fi books, you will love it more. The writing is comprehensible with neither profanities nor amatorial content. The story gives us a glimpse into every person's fears and troubles, young and old alike. Therefore you can learn a lesson or two.

The book is indeed very interesting. I also had a hard time pronouncing Manasakd. It sounded like " man as a kid" when I first encountered it

I don't have that much interest in the fantasy and sci-fi genre, but this sure sounds interesting.
Beautiful review.
