We Are Voulhire: The Fires of Virko is the second book of the series "We Are Voulhire". It is a sci-fi or fantasy novel. In this book it focuses on Virko, the most successful and prosperous city of Voulhire. Galen, the protagonist of the story will travel this city in the midst of his journey of forging.

The book started with Galen heading to Virko for the source of his forging's metal. He travel there after the massacre in Hillport City, that happened in the first book of the series. The dying lord of Virko agrees to Galen with the trading of metals in exchange for cleansing his house from the demons that are lurking in that majestic home. But the events went into chaos. The plan that they thought will work turned into more chaos. More massacred and slaughtered people and animals. They failed into killing one strong demon. How will they fight a thousand more of demons? And another mysterious foe?

Galen the main character, developed into kinder and mature man. Together with his friends Rowan and Demetrius, they travel Voulhire for their forging business. Rowan is still the playboy he is. While Demetrius, well he is more than what we read. I didn't think he was that really smart and fearless. More characters was shown in this book. The readers will encounter a lot of characters and of course, the characters have their own point of views. Even though they are the antagonists.

Matthew Tysz, the amazing author of this book. He created a lot of amazing and fantastic books. If I were to recommend an author, I would surely recommend him. He has the magnificent style of creating stories. I love his works.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. This book deserves it. What I liked the most in this book is the scenes are very descriptive. It feels like I'm watching a movie. With the author's magnificent style of writing the story, I can clearly imagine the scenes with my mind. Though I disliked in this story was it doesn't have any flashbacks or anything that was connected or what has happened in the first book of the series. I recommend this book to those who love to read a fantasy novel with action. Those who like fight scenes, dark magic and such, you'll surely like this. There is excessive violence with sadistic details that are not suitable for young audiences. I observed no grammatical mistakes, just some typographical errors. I have reviewed the first book of this series, you can check it out in my reviews.
