We are Voulhire: A New Arrival Under Great Skies is a scientific novel. The novel centers on the cities in Voulhire including Soulhire, Hillport, Magnum Caelum. Voulhire is a successful place with a well-structured kind of power and leadership. Matthew Tysz introduced certain characters who were key to this intrigued work of art. Voulhire is controlled by King Wilhelm, a funny king who is thought to be responsible for the city's great success. Like any other people, the people look up to him in times of trials and prosperity. This is the first book of We are Voulhire series, and I can't wait to complete the series to know how the characters played out.

Galen, a young lad from another city full of humor and respect got to the city of Magnum Caelum to start a new life. Galen has suddenly become rich after inheriting treasures and deposit boxes from his late uncle, the greatest blacksmith in Voulhire. Would he be happy to tread his uncle's path? Also, the book shifts the readers to the most dangerous events I have ever read this month. Characters like Lord Orlin, Lord Meldorath; the two rulers whose names are pronounced dark in the city of Hillport. Would Hillport ever know peace and civilization? Read this amazing story to find answers and more.

One major aspect I love so much about books is a perfect setting that changes throughout the plot. The city of Voulhire and its inhabitants were beautifully described. For instance, their culture and occupation range from city to city. People in Hillport were known to be fishermen while in Magnum Caelum, people were miners and traders. As a result, I could imagine how successful Voulhire was based on its towns and cities. Many sci-fi books offer suspense and this book is no exception. For instance, Lord Eldus became restless after taking charge of Hillport after the two dark lords. He was determined to find out what happened before his enthronement as he kept digging for information.

Not so many sci-fi books are comic. I enjoyed Galen Bray and Rowan's escapade as they conversed like old-time friends. Galen was always the subject of Rowan's jokes due to his nature. Still, I must warn other readers that it contained some obscene jokes and so, not suitable for children. Children should avoid reading this book because of the vulgar words inclined.

The only thing I find displeasing is that I am yet to know the theme of the story. I know this is attributed to being the first series. I consider this book to have been professionally well-edited. I hardly find any typo errors. However, I rate this book four out of four stars. It is most appealing to lovers of adventures and science. I am looking forward to completing the 2nd series soon.
