We are Voulhire: Someone Else's End written by Matthew Tysz, the third book of the series “We are Voulhire”, starts with Meldorath having an ominous dream. Someone in the capital Soulhire has a similar dream. The Riva Rohavi once again stir, but are they the only ones? Sod rears his ugly head once more.

Galen and his two friends are still trying to find help for the “mistake” they made in Virko. They decide to travel to a city which Galen has not yet been, to attempt to get the help they seek. We find out that Galen has a skill that was totally unexpected. He also talks about some of his past when he was living at the Islands of The Princes. We get the back story of Rowan's adventure to find Galen. Someone reveals a secret skill Rowan also has, associated with his past, to which he elaborates. Shortly after Galen and his friends arrive back at Magnum Caelum they get an unexpected surprise. Where will Galen and his friends end up, nobody knows(well I guess Matthew Tysz might)? I am starting to think Galen may be cursed.

Once again Matthew Tysz does not disappoint in this third installment of the “We Are Voulhire” series. With a small reprieve from politics, but not gone, we get more action. Conflict abounds, is this the end of Voulhire's golden age, or just the tumultuous “middle”? How can a kingdom so entrenched with gossip be so ignorant about what is going on around them?

We are Voulhire: Someone Else's End is well written and has very few errors, obviously professionally edited. The series has some vulgarity and sexual innuendo, and this book is no exception. Young adults I think would enjoy this book very much. As you continue through the series the story gets better and better.

I would rate this book 3 out of 4. If you like stories with magic this one will not disappoint. I dislike how the books are getting shorter. The politics could be elaborated on in some greater detail, and it would be nice if the “physical” conflicts were longer and had more action. I feel that more time could be dedicated to Galen's skill development also. Overall, this book is worth taking the time to read, even though it lacks in some aspects. Matthew Tysz also has another series “The Turn” that may be worth taking a look at.
