Lady pain is a woman that we all cross paths with once or more times in our lives. Sometimes we decide to let her stay and make a home for herself in our bodies. Other times we take a firm stand and decide to kick her out before she makes herself comfortable. We do this through conventional medical treatments, taking drugs, and even going for manual therapy, acupuncture sessions, and massages. But what if I tell you that these popular methods do not always work? And what if I tell you that we can deal with the immense pain we feel by fighting it on the emotional level?

Yes! Your body's wellness is tied to your emotions, and sometimes all you need to do to feel better is to change the negative emotion we feel, love our bodies even more (including the part causing us distress), and watch as the pain we feel dissipate. This is what Dominique Bourlet, a therapist, and healer with more than 12 years of experience in his field of work, teaches in his book titled Happy Healing. The happy healing method involves seeing the part of your body that's causing you pain as a victim too and should not be hated. This method which implores you to direct nothing but love and positive energy to that part of your body, undergo certain prayers, and change your style of living promises to not only almost always get rid of that pain, but also keep diseases at bay.

Dominique Bourlet talked in great detail about how happy healing works in the book. He explains all the steps and phases in such a manner that is very easy to understand. His explanations are simple and straight to the point, and the tips shared can be utilized by both patients (to treat themselves in the comfort of their homes) and therapists who wish to use the happy healing method on their patients. This is what I liked most about the book. One does not need to have prior experience in healing or anything of the such to perfect this art.

There are some errors in the book. Some of the errors I saw are broken-off sentences, incomplete sentences, the omission of spaces before and after hyphens, etc. This is what is liked least about the book. Even though these errors exist, I do not think that they will affect the book's readability a great deal (after all, there is only a handful of them).

I will like to round off this review by awarding Happy Healing by Dominique Bourlet a rating of 3 out of 4 stars. This rating is given because I feel like the author gave real value and taught a hidden truth that will benefit millions. This rating is also given because the book is written in a manner that is very easy to understand. The typographical errors on the other hand are responsible for the subtraction of the lone star. That said, I will like to recommend this book to every person who wishes to find an effective alternative to conventional medication and physical pain used to reduce pain.
