Hammer of the Gods written by RK Wheeler is a very interesting read.I have rated this book a 4 out of 4 and rated it this way because it was unique and pique my interested into other aspects of the story. The charaters were familar and new at the same time.A brief summary of the Hammer of the Gods is that the battle between good and evil is prevailing and each side is looking for the one who can give either side the winning edge. It takes family feud to a whole new level and someone from the bloodline must be the one to awaken the lost kin. Who will the lost kin side with is the question?

This book had my attention and I really had to read in sections because it had so much interesting content.RK Wheeler found a way to connect the Bible with myth lore and fable lore which I found intriguing. Because of the way he blend everything together I was captivated. It made me look at somethings rather differently and left me wanting to see how he pulled the final story together in the next book. I will definitely say if you have an open mind and like adventure and myths this book will not only fullfill that but have you doing research on some facts you never knew.

I would say that this is not a childrens story. Theres just enough gore to be thrilling. The back story ties everything together. Your villan aka Satan himself is truly the devil at his worst. His and many of the angels, dwarves, and dragons back story shows a look at all events through different eyes. That keeps it exciting and interesting.

Hammer of the Gods is a fantasy with a twist you don't see coming. It encompasses ideas and pulls you in all at once. I like the notion that all stories began somewhere and RK Wheeler really structures that well. At first I thought he was just trying to put to much but he manage to make it all make since across the board. This genre of writing really breaks down a lot.

In conclusion I wouldsay that open minds should read this. It not only tells and interesting tale but makes it feel as if it could be viable to ask more questions of the world around you. I woould recommend you read this book and enjoy cause I believe it cause you to want to always read more.
