Review by Rie_reader -- Soul Seeker by Kaylin McFarren
Soul Seeker is a supernatural mystery novel. This book was written by Kaylin McFarren. Supernatural beings are introduced in this book looking like humans. Features like humans except for their wings and maybe horns. In this book, the journey of Crighton is highlighted here. His life from being a demon to something unexpected.
While awaiting his execution for murdering his son, Benjamin Poe decided to tell the story of why he accidentally killed his son, to his lawyer named Pierce Beaudoin. He confessed everything. He told the story starting with his almost broken family. Then, how the mysteries and secrets unfold. How unusual things happen. And how Benjamin met Crighton. Crighton Daemonium is a soul catcher demon. He is working for the King of Hell, Lucifer. But his life changed when he was instructed to catch and kill an angel. Unfortunately, the angel and demon fell into a trap. They took the two to the laboratory of the Sovereign Sector. Where things suddenly turned south. The group of scientists experimented with the two. Crighton became soulmates with the angel he was sent to capture. With more secrets revealed, Crighton becomes the target of Lucifer's revenge. The only way out is to hide or to kill.
Benjamin Poe is a kind and loving father. Crighton Daemonium is strong and brave. And there are more characters on the list. They have introduced amazingly. All of the characters have wonderful developments.
Kaylin McFarren is one of the awesome authors. I love how she made the book in her way. Every scene in the chapter feels like I am watching a movie. She wrote the book very well. The writer has a beautiful imagination and an awesome writing style.
I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. The book was perfectly edited and written. I haven't encountered any errors. I liked how the book narrated the story beautifully, even though the book started with Benjamin Poe's point of view then it was passed to Crighton Daemonium's point of view. I recommend this book to those who like supernatural, fantasy, mysteries, thrillers, crime, punishment, demons, angels, action, and so much more. But I don't recommend this to young readers. If you want to read this book, you must have an open mind. Every word, scene, and chapter keeps me interested, that the story let me read more and more. I love how the story is mystical and has an unusual theme that kept me to read it again and again.
