Timewise by Robert Leet is a very complex novel. The book begins with a young Ron Larsen playing chess at a tournament. He is approached by a beautiful older woman named Regina Russo and asked to play a game with her. As they play, Regina begins to talk about quantum physics. Ron is intrigued and due to her lecture agrees to try harder in school. He begins to study math and graduates high school having a good foundation in mathematics. After graduation he is again approached by Regina and told that she would pay him to go to college and receive good grades. The story then follows Ron throughout his entire academic career and into his professional career. Using his education in mathematics and his frequent lessons from Regina in physics, Ron begins to become wealthy and live an exceptional life. However, when Regina starts dabbling in time travel, Ron gets sucked into her plans, and life becomes very complicated. When the FBI show up, Ron must decide what side he is on, and if this crazy plan is worth it.

This book was very complicated and at times extremely difficult to read. The physics and mathematical concepts that were discussed were very complex and at times completely over my head. The sketches within the novel did help some, however, it was still very difficult to comprehend. Also, the novel did not seem to have a clear plot. I could not decide what the main character was trying to accomplish and in what direction the story was going. For these reasons, I rated the novel a 3 out of 4 stars. I did not rate the novel any lower because I still felt that it was a well-written novel that kept my attention for the most part.

There was not really a definitive part of the novel that I liked more than any other part. There were parts that I disliked more than others. Those parts consisted mainly of the quantum physics and mathematical concepts that seemed very far-fetched. These parts took up a significant portion of the novel.

This book would mainly appeal to older readers who are interested in scientific concepts. The novel does have some instances of bad language as well as some sexual scenes, therefore, I would not recommend it to anyone younger than eighteen.

The novel did not appear to have been professionally edited. It did have multiple errors. These errors did not deter from the flow of the novel and were not a big deal.
