All his life David has gotten himself into crazy adventures that usually have a hilarious result. Always getting into trouble and somehow getting out of it. His wild adventures that include betting large hands at the MGM, stealing a taxi in Vegas, and a rather unfortunate yet amusing tale about frogs and his dogs. With different personalities all colliding to create a unique and entertaining read, That time I… by David O’Brien is a phenomenon, with his witty remarks and ever-amusing stories, that include large amounts of drugs and alcohol, it is a book one will never want to put down and will have you laughing all the way through the book. The perfect non-fiction book for long car rides or just waiting. The book includes moderate profanity and some explicit scenes that add to the charm of the overall book. That time I.. includes tales about some A-List celebs including Sean Connery, Jimmy Kimmel, President Bush, and more.

The rawness of the author and his willingness to reveal his, sometimes unbelievable, antics add to the overall book. Each chapter is its own story but do include references to each other. The author does have strong opinions on certain subjects, but the book would not be complete without them. Tales of a high end and excessive lifestyle most taking place in Vegas, where one would probably expect such behaviour, makes this book worth the read in all its entirety. The editing of this book is exceptional, and I could not find any errors at all, therefore this book deserves 4 out of 4 stars . I recommend this book to all individuals who enjoy a light read which to carry around for all the pesky waiting times and to inspire them to have their own wild adventures.
