Please take note that this is a review for the second book of the We are Voulhire series.

In the last book, Meldorath escaped from the isle, and the little town of Hillport was in ruins after the attack of the Riva Rohavi. Now for the second book, we get to know more about Voulhires newest town called Virko. Where people love capitalism, they want their town to get rid of the priest and anything to do with religion. We get to see how all these decisions affect them.

In We are Voulhire: The fires of Virko by Matthew Tysz, you read more about the history of the town. The plot keeps following our original character Galen and his new friends on the hunt for more metals so Galen can help Magnum Caleum keep flourishing. They find themselves traveling to Virko, not knowing what awaits them.

The dialogs, as always, were engaging and pleasant. I enjoyed getting to know more characters and discovering the roles they were playing by the end. I loved the way the author described Virko. Throughout the book, you get to know more about the Eiodi. Also, you get to see how Hillport is doing and Meldorath's plan.

There's nothing I didn't like about the book. It is well written, and I didn't find any grammatical mistakes. The author's writing is clear and concise. I liked reading about each character's point of view.

There were no errors throughout the book. It had great editing and looked very professional. We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz gets a rating of 4 out of 4 stars. I recommend it to readers who enjoy fantasy and a little bit of suspense. If you feel apprehensive about rape or murder these topics are alluded to, and a little bit explicitly described.
