[Following is a volunteer review of "What is priest Nation, The Seed, and the H5G" by Herbert Scholes.]
What is Priest Nation, The Seed, And The H5G by Herbert Scholes is a religious book which generally addresses the unification of Christians. It has a total of six chapters. The three major questions in this book are gotten from the book’s title. They include: What is priest nation? what is the seed? and what is the H5G? The author also asked what the gospel is, which he referred to as a pinnacle question for every believer, and he noticed how most Christians could not answer that question. The book kicks off with the author’s testimony and closes with his wife’s testimony.
The book holds answers to the questions in the above paragraph. Priest nation is the name given to a ministry whose primary vision is to bring unification to the Body of Christ by teaching old Scriptures using newly revealed strategies in modern days. These teachings are ”modernized” and called the high five gospel. The seed, on the other hand, is the emblem for the priest nation ministry. The author went further to explain why he prefers the name priest to Christian and backs his explanation with scriptures from the bible. In the third chapter, he tells us the physical, spiritual, legal, legitimate, biblical, and historical definition of priest nation.
What is Priest Nation, The Seed, and the H5G was certainly a fascinating and informative read; but slightly confusing due to the writing style used by the author. The author wrote in a disorganized and irregular manner, which confused me. The paragraphs have different formatting as some were aligned to the center, while others to the left and the rest to the right. I almost stopped reading the book because of the poor formatting, which was a major turn-off. I believe more professional formatting would make the book more interesting to read.
One major aspect I liked about the book was the testimonies. The author used real-life testimonies of other Christians, which served as an encouragement to readers. I was also impressed with the biblical scriptures, which the author used to explain and also back up his points. He added scriptures at different positions in the book, either at the start of a chapter or at the end of a chapter. The book narrates the author’s spiritual experience from when he confessed his faith In Jesus Christ till he became fully repented.
I give What is Priest Nation, the Seed, and the H5G by Herbert Scholes 3 out of 4 stars. I deducted 1 star from my rating because the book was a bit confusing and was not professionally edited. I recommend this book to mature Christians. There was no profanity and sexual content in the book. The book might not be suitable for non-Christians as it contains topics that might be offensive to them.
