Amanda sounds like a strong female protagonist, which I love. I'm sure suddenly discovering powers that you didn't have previously would be very confusing. Thanks for an awesome review!

Amanda acquired some really cool and useful superpowers after the accident.
I like reading books that make me look up a dictionary. This is a good way to expand one's vocabulary. But I agree not all readers will be comfortable doing it.
Thanks for this wonderful review :tiphat:

I often wish I had the super power to tell truth from lies because we live in a world where deception runs rampant. So, now I am curious to find out more about this book. I'm sure the main character, Amanda, found her new ability very useful.

Thank you so much for such an entertaining and well-written review.

I'm yet to decide on what superpower to go for if I had to choose. I'd pick several if the option was there, haha. (For a shifter animal I'd definitely go for dragon. The biggest and baddest in the streets!) To be able to tell truth from lies, I agree, that would be useful.
Thank you so much for stopping by!
