Sounds like a great book for music lovers.
Village Idiots? Interesting band name.
The humorous parts add to the thrill of reading this book.

I think I would enjoy this book since it is written from a first-person narrative. I would get to really understand and connect with the protagonist, Boone Daniels, just like you have. Nice review.
