Yeah, I really wish the book was written from Wayne's perspective. Thanks for your comment.Michelle Menezes wrote: ↑11 Jun 2021, 12:27 I loved this book too. I hadn't expected much from it initially due to the vague description, but I decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did. And I agree with you on Wayne being more interesting than the Philip. Great review!

Maybe it wasn't written through Wayne's perspective because he was very secretive and chaotic. The revelations had a lot of impact because Philip himself was in the dark about many things. Wayne, on the other hand knew what was going on. It probably wouldn't have been as interesting if the reader knew what was going on early in the story.63tty wrote: ↑13 Jun 2021, 03:58Yeah, I really wish the book was written from Wayne's perspective. I also like that it's realistic and relevant to our current situations.

That makes sense actually. It would have spoiled the story. Maybe if the author at some point interchanged between the two povs. That would have been fine right?Michelle Menezes wrote: ↑13 Jun 2021, 04:27Maybe it wasn't written through Wayne's perspective because he was very secretive and chaotic. I agree, you could never guess what happened next or how it would end. Thanks for the comment.Mindful Wordsmith wrote: ↑19 Jun 2021, 02:04 This mystery/thriller book sounds interesting. I like stories that alternate between the past and the present. This style of storytelling helps make the characters more compelling and the plot more deep.
Thanks for this wonderful review
