Have you ever wondered if you could understand what cats and dogs say when they purr, meow or bark? Have you also wondered if these animals are on detective missions when they go snooping and sniffing things? Diary of a Snoopy Cat by R.F Kristi is a children's story that narrates a detective mission by a cat.

This book is the fifth book in the Inca Book series by R.F Kristi. It will take you on a thrilling adventure as narrated by an amazing Siberian cat. Inca, Cara, Charlotte, and Fromage are three cats and a dog. They are happily living together with their humanoid owners, Missy and Auntie Florence. Inca is the leader and leads their troupe through several missions. In this series, she narrates how their lives had a scary but hilarious turnaround when requested to find a will.

I loved the author's unique content. Most children's animal books are written to have little or no moral lessons to learn. Diary of a Snoopy Cat is written to instill smartness. Additionally, the main theme shows how three cats and a dog worked together to solve an issue. This will surely teach children the value and reward of working as a team. It will instill in them a cooperative spirit while carryinng out different tasks.

Furthermore, I liked the simplistic nature of the author's writing style. Additionally, I must commend the appropriate use of pretty illustrations. Her writing style made the book very interesting, entertaining, and informative. Children who read this book will find it fun and exciting.

I rate this book four out of four stars for its uniqueness and excellent moral values. It will reach children to be brave, smart, and truthful, just as their cats were. I also commend the excellent professional editing work. I saw no errors to note and nothing to dislike about the book. This book is recommended for children ages 10-13 years. The vocabulary use in this book is most age-appropriate for them.
