Review of Divine Simplicity Day 3...Unity In The Community
Divine Simplicity Day 3...Unity in The Community by Yasher Echad El is a nonfiction book that showcases different aspects of life. It points out how celebrities pursue fame the wrong way and how some religions have misinterpreted the scriptures and even omitted some.
As the book continues, the author continues to display godly devotion as he quotes scriptures. He gives the example of some of the movies that we watch and the celebrities that we follow who don't do their things the godly way. We see how movies and TV shows predict the future. We see how people idolize and worship celebrities with or without knowing. People have also chosen to change their gender either to be male or female, where else they were born to be one gender or another.
As depicted in the book, there are some simple things that one can do to boost the child's development. It has shown a step-by-step example of how one should engage with the children to have better communication with their kids. The book provides tools for strengthening conversations with your children. It also has some questions that one can ask their children that are age-appropriate. It also discusses some of the disturbing issues that arise when it comes to race over nationality. Additionally, the author points out several ways to show that parenting does not come with instructions, unlike most electronics that come with the user manual.
I am surprised to see how we embrace and sing along to some of these songs the rappers sing, yet, we don't know the deeper or the hidden meaning of these songs or movies that we keep listening to and watching. Some of these songs and movies feature our favorite celebrities that we keep idolizing. It is funny how social media has given people false confidence and how entertainment has given people false confidence and hope. They use social networking to promote evil instead of good and truth. I also liked how honest the author was in his writing because he genuinely explained how happy he was to find out the truth, but he also says that the truth was so sickening. He experienced so much pain from the truth that he was unable to show up for work. After reading the King James Version of the Bible side by side with the original scriptures, he came to full repentance.
I learned that we need to do a thorough investigation of the contents of the music or TV shows before choosing to listen or watch them.
That said, I rate the book at 4 out of 4 stars. I have nothing to dislike about the book. It was professionally edited and had a swift narration flow. I did not detect any profanity or erotic expressions in the narrative.
I recommend the book to those who are not sensitive to religious teachings and celebrity enthusiasts. The book will not impress those who do not fancy reading religious books.
