"The Ultimate Love" by Sherine Anniruth was a book about an emotional and healing journey of a mother who lost her son. When death itself is scary, what the death of our loved ones can do to us? Sherine Anniruth, had a son named Nadeem who she lost to cancer. She talks about every possible question, thoughts and fears that arise within us about our lost loved ones. Being a woman, she also talks about grieving men. She tells briefly about the common stages of grief: denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance. Furthermore, she tells about the importance of time, gratitude, journalism, life and much more. Then and there she asks the readers to answer few questions which can help in healing process. Throughout the book, she portrays grief positively.

I'd like to appreciate how the author has come forward to share her emotions and experiences. She gives strength to the readers by writing about the hardships she have gone through, and her son Nadeem went through. The author has beautifully written in a way that every reader can live the memories which she shared with her son. She repeatedly uses the word guardian angel, making the readers believe that every loved one whom we lost become our guardian angel protecting us. When it comes to non-fiction, some people may get bored, but this book has some pictures with quotes in between the chapters which are relative and engaging.

I really cannot think of any negative points about this book. Maybe this book could be too emotional for a sensitive person.

I rate the book "The Ultimate Love" by Sherine Anniruth 4 out of 4 stars. Being a mother, she not only explained how much she loved him, but also how much he loved her. There is only one typo that came to my notice, so I can conclude that this book is professionally proofread and edited.

I recommend the book "The Ultimate Love" by Sherine Anniruth for all age groups except children because the emotions explained in the book can be too much for children. This book is a must-read for people who have lost their loved ones and are grieving. I would also recommend this book to people who wish to learn about emotional intelligence.

This book could have been so helpful to me a year ago. Anyway, I got to know the stages I overcame and the way I still have a long way to go. I wholeheartedly appreciate the author's efforts. Nadeem would be so proud of his mother, Sherine Anniruth.

What I think is a big take to me on this book is how the mother handles grief, because not all the time are mothers in the spotlight when it comes to a story that concerns grief. What I also think I will like is how the character portrayed grief. Thanks for the review!

Thank you for your review! At first I thought the book will be about romantic love but I was pleasantly surprised to see it's about a mother-son relationship.
