Love, Grandma, by Ann Morris, is a heart-warming story of a grandmother’s unconditional love for her grandchildren. The book is a short story of moments in the lives of Payton and Haley that they spend with their grandmother and the memorable things they do in those times. In those precious moments, they felt the love that their grandma has for both of them.

When I was reading the book, I felt the grandmother’s love for her grandchildren as if it was a tangible thing. It made me reminisce about the moments in my childhood that I have spent with my grandmother. A mother’s love may be unconditional, but so is a grandmother’s love. This book warmed my heart.

What I liked the most about this book is the illustrations on every page. Every moment told in the story was depicted through the images in the pages. The illustrations were done in a manner that made me think of old storybooks that my mother or my grandmother used to read to me. The pictures were very nostalgic, and they significantly contributed to the emotions that the book was trying to convey.

I did not find anything to dislike about this book. It was a very quick read, and I think this would be a perfect bedtime story for children. The book was written in a poem-like manner which gives the story a magical vibe. The writing style could help cultivate creativity in a child’s mind. As such, I would recommend this book to parents who are looking for a good storybook for their children. However, older readers may not enjoy this as much.

The book was exceptionally edited. While reading it, I found no errors at all. I liked the way it was written, and the beautiful illustrations greatly contributed to my enjoyment of the book. In conclusion, I’m giving this book 4 out of 4 stars.
