[Following is a volunteer review of "Unchecked capitalism is killing us!" by Earl Rynerson.]
Unchecked Capitalism Is Killing Us!, written by Earl B. Rynerson is a nonfictional book, which roughly speaking, reveals all the sins of capitalism, such as corporate corruption, greed, and lies.
The book also describes the American position in the political field during the pandemic of covid-19. The author gave a critic on numerous corporations in which he showed us all of their bad and rotting sides, he criticized corporations like General Motors, Chrysler, Ford, Wall Street, Citibank, Bank of America, and many others. He criticized their methods of corruption, their will of money-making, he also revealed how the elites of the society are turning the national economy in the wrong direction.
I enjoyed a lot the fact that the author provides us with valid proofs, for example, he broughts up the data from the studies. It’s really great when the source from which the information was taken is clear and undoubted. I also liked that this book is huge in terms of the topics that it covers, the author has chosen a huge theme on which to write, and he did a good job of writing on it. Considering that we all live in the era of capitalism, the knowledge that was provided by the author is very valuable.
Also, I liked that the book almost doesn’t contain any errors in it, and the style with which the author wrote is very metaphorical sometimes, it’s very unexpectable, considering that the books of such type rarely use any sort of language besides the straightforward one.
Although the book is doing a very good job revealing the bad sides of capitalism, I think this fact gives place to a paradox, I think someone who is not well aware of other political systems may think that capitalism is the satans invention, when in fact even being not perfect it is still the best socioeconomic and political system the humanity could manage to come up with. I don’t want to say that the worst side of this book is the fact that it works, and I wouldn’t, I think that if you are well aware of the rest of the world’s political and socio-economic systems, and you can logically reason, this book wouldn’t make you feel like the capitalism is the worst thing in the world. Besides that the book is awesome.
I enjoyed reading the book a lot and I would recommend it to pretty much anyone who is interested in socioeconomic and political systems. I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars.
