Wellness Toolbox Debunking Myths about Fitness and Nutrition to Provide All the Tools You Need for a Healthier and Happier Life is one of the most informative and interesting books to read if you want to change your lifestyle and start getting healthier. The author, Don Roberts, has over 20 years as a fitness trainer, nutritional coach and gym owner, and he shares all his expertise with readers so as to change their lifestyles and showcase how easy it actually is to be fit. The book is divided into four parts, in which the author writes about nutrition, exercise, shares his own stories, some testimonies from his clients and overall talks about fitness.

What first grabbed my attention was the amount of data that readers can learn when reading this piece. The book is very clear and packed with information about food, exercise, personal stories and even some tips on how to fit a 15 min workout. If only I had known all the advice that Robert gives before starting my own fitness journal in order to drop some pounds I would not have only focused on cardio, eating very few calories and turning my health into a cycle of having a negative relationship with food, exercise and my own body. Therefore, I think readers who are looking to slim down or perhaps eating a bit healthier, will benefit from a book that is so easy to understand.

A very interesting part of the book is how the author lists facts and myths about nutrition, exercise and overall fitness. He gives a brief explanation on each myth or fact and teaches the reader the proper ways in which you can take care of your body in order to be healthier. Like for example how children should exercise from a very young age, or how women can train and should train the same way as men or how water helps with several health conditions such as cancer and even boosts metabolism.

In addition, the book contains, in its second part, some testimonials that might even encourage the reader to practice what the author preaches. Another thing that I really liked about this part of the book is seeing how many different people, in different stages and situations in their life became healthy. It made me realize how diverse and enriching exercise is, because being healthy does not only mean having a certain weight, it means being at peace with your body, taking care of it and giving yourself time to strengthen yourself.

Overall the book is very informative. The author gives tips, shares his own stories and informs readers in a way that no nutritionist can ever do. With all his years of experience, readers can be comfortable when reading this book. I found no grammatical errors which suggest that it was edited. I give it 4 out of 4 stars.
