Fast- Starting a Career of CONSEQUENCE -Practical Christ Centered Advice for Entering or Reentering the Workforce{/i] is written by Fred Sievert. It is a nonfiction self-help book. The first part of the book is his introduction. It explains why he wrote this book along with how to use the book. The second part of the book is about faith in the workforce. He starts out by telling how to identify what your personal gifts are and how to use them in the workforce. He then gives examples of his own personal gifts and how he used them to rise up quickly to the top of his company. He then gives tips on how to hold onto your beliefs and value. He also tells you what to do if you come across having to make the right decision when something goes against your faith. The third part of the book gives tips on researching the best company to work for and how to get the top people of your company to notice you so that you can rise up faster in your company. Throughout the whole book he uses an appendix that you can go back and forth to read specific things that would pertain to your life.

I enjoyed this book and found many positive things about it. One of the positive things I noticed is that it was professionally edited. Another thing I liked about the book was that it helped me to identify my own gifts along with understanding them, and how to use them in my personal life. I think that he was brilliant adding the appendix because it gives his readers the choice of reading each appendix. This allows each reader to decide for themselves what is important in their own lives. I liked that while he was recommending other books, he described and explained how each book would help in the different areas of his reader’s lives.

While I enjoyed this book, one negative thing I noticed was that he gave too many examples of his own life to explain his point. I think that he proved his point after the first two examples.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. I enjoyed it and learned a lot about faith in the workforce.

I would especially recommend this book to all Christians who want to rise up in their jobs. I believe this book would be helpful to anyone who is looking to move up in their careers.
