Tinman by Karen Black and Matt Walton starts off with a bang and proceeds to take you on an action packed ride. The main character, Gregory McGregor, begins a quest to find the secrets behind a mysterious death.

The reader is taken on a journey across the United States, introduced to amazing supporting characters who participate in various plot twists. The book quickly takes you down the path of who could be responsible, making everyone a suspect. With each new plot twist you are taken deeper into the novel and closer to answers.

The thing that I loved most about the book was the ease of flow from chapter to chapter. Each character was fully developed which allowed for each plot line to flow seamlessly throughout the entire book. The book reads like a great action packed movie and it was hard to put it down. Tinman gives the reader a complete and immersive experience. Right from the first chapter, you are hooked into the story and want to keep reading to see what happens next.

The writing in Tinman was exceptional. While the story moved through each chapter without difficulty, it did include many challenging vocabulary words. Many of the words chosen may prove hard for some readers to know their meaning.

Tinman is not suitable for younger readers, as it discusses mature themes, such as murder, violence and bombs. The book was extremely well written and had hardly any spelling or grammatical errors. For these reasons, I have chosen to give the book a rating of four out of four stars .
