[Following is a volunteer review of "Tales of the Seventies" by David Done.]
Tales of the seventies written by David Done.It portrays life in San Francisco during 1970's .There are eight different tales which talks about the unique character's of people which will make us to read in an encouraging and interesting way. This story talks about so many different people with different characters.Like those who have lost faith in life, people who help others without expecting anything in return, the bad guys with no goals in life, people who were always scared of something and being judged by the way they are and those with different thoughts and opinions.Just like us,common folks.
There was nothing to dislike more about this book. The part i liked the least was, when the tale got interested,it just got ended too. When i really wanted to know more about the characters and eagerly waiting to see what's going to happen next, the tale just ends with a simple ending and another totally different tale begins.
I would like to recommend this fascinating tales to readers who like to know about the San Francisco life during the seventies and how this planet has many people with as many problems they are facing in everyday. It is not an action-packed thriller but is more of a character study. There is some mild profanity, but it is not that much excessive. There are no sex scenes, but there are some sexual innuendos in the tales and a few implied situations inbetween them.
I loved this well written story of David Done.I was impressed by how he was able to make the readers to go into an imaginary world in San Francisco.Because of the well-edited text and unique characters, this story deserves a good rating.I am awarding Tales of the seventies by David Done with 3 out of 4 stars.
