[Following is a volunteer review of "Unveil your Intimate Self" by Elena Georgiadou.]
"Our ultimate goal is to find enlightenment…" The instinctive quest of every human is to know himself and connect back to his source within which is pure awareness, the ultimate reality.
The book Unveil your Intimate self by Elena Georgiadou is an attempt to explore the human consciousness; the mind, the body, within the realms of science, spirituality and healing. To help the reader have a better understanding of home, experience more harmony in life and help bring peace and a greater consciousness into the world that is filled with so many conflicts and disagreements.
I found the entire experience of reading the book quite satisfying. The content of the book is mind blowing; it cuts across many fields: physics, philosophy, medicine and so on. The facts written in the book are well researched and reliable, written in a way that is easy to understand and relate with. Renowned authors and scholars like Deepak Chopra, Rumi, Menas Kafatos, David Simon and many others were quoted in the book. It was drinking from the well of knowledge.
I love the author's inquisitive nature and deep search for knowledge, which led to a detailed research, education and travels that gave birth to this masterpiece, written not just to enlighten her readers but also to bring them to experience self realization through consciousness and transformation.
The author is both a good teacher and a well-seasoned writer. I love how She made use of quotes, good illustration and practical step by step process to aid the reader's understanding. Her use of experiences and practical steps helps paint a good mental picture of the point that she is trying to make and it also engages the imagination of the reader and makes the book more interesting and easy to practicalise.
One thing that I didn't like about the book is that some of the concepts written in the book are imaginary. They are mere intangible facts and knowledge that can only exist in the mind as a consciousness and can be easily misunderstood. Some realists might find the book off-putting.
Even though I found a few errors in the book, it did not affect my reading experience. I would applaud the editors for doing a good job. I would rate the book four out of four stars. It is a good book and I would recommend it to everyone, especially those who love learning new things and are fascinated about the mind and man's consciousness.
