Life as an artist can sometimes be hard and not everyone appreciates art.
But not for Ato!!! It was Ato's deepest desire to share her art with others and
show them her entire world displayed on a canvas.

The World of Ato by Patrick Borosky is a story that plays off in a far, far away land called the Crimson Kingdom where Ato and her best friend Reed loved to explore and go on fun adventures never leaving each others side. This is where Ato gets all her fantastic ideas and visions to create and express her art. However one day while on a very important exploration to the Azure Ruins Ato fell into a big hole and
vanished. Reed spent a lot of time to rescue her. This is where Ato discovered that her art became alive by drawing a little dragon with color on a slab table in a city long forgotten and magically her drawing and coloring of the little dragon came alive. In that she gained the key that opened the door to climb into her world that she created and explore her world with her new precious friend named Iro. Iro is
a small dragon that came alive through Ato's art. Iro was not only a small smart
dragon but he held the key to unlocking Ato's art and making it real. And this is how Ato could enter and exit the world of her art. But this time without her best friend Reed. There was even more adventures with kings, witches, Scarred, knights and a hawk that Ato and Iro flew on. If only all artist could access their art and live in it with all the adventures.

The life of Ato is a book to inspire all young artist, not only to draw a piece of
art but to become one with their art. The story of the main character is actually very sad the reason being that she is so young and have to care for herself because her parents have been missing for two years. But don't be discouraged. Ato is a very capable young lady and have full support from her best friend Reed and his loving mother.

The book is very exciting and very descriptive of all the adventures and art. I love the way the writer plays with colors and adventure scenes. This book is motivational for all upcoming artists to express their way of thinking onto a canvas.

There is nothing in the book I did not like. I enjoyed the story and all the adventures in it.

I did come across a few edit errors in the book.

I rate the book 3 out of 4 stars. I recommend the book for youngsters in their teens to explore their artistic worlds.
